Charley Smith began his career in photography ten years ago as a model in London. Coming into contact with some outstanding and influential photographers, including Mario Testino, Charley was inspired to put himself on the other side of the lens. Charley now works with both independent designers and leading European brands, creatively directing and executing their advertising campaigns.

He launched his career as a wedding photographer shooting weddings for family and friends in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire. Bringing his fashion and portraiture expertise to the weddings he photographs, Charley does not simply document the day but creates pieces of art with each photograph he takes. He keenly feels the importance of allowing the wedding to flow naturally, without interruptions for staged photography. Often using a longer lens to work from the periphery, Charley’s photography is spontaneous, natural and unobtrusive.
